In 2001, Sumitomo registered flumioxazin in the United States, for soybean and peanut, marketed as Valor; in 2004 its further expansion to cotton by Valent company, in 2005 expanded to sugarcane.

In 2003, with the chlorine ester sulfonic amine grass (cloransulam) compound Gangster products listed for soybean. In Japan, flumioxazin and glufosinate premix products used for orchards and non crop areas, marketed as Groundboy.

In 2005, Sumitomo subsidiary of Kenogard listed flumioxazin in Spain, the trade name Pledge.

After 2006/07 years, Sumitomo subsidiary of Interfarm listed flumioxazin in Germany, the UK and Ireland, for grain.

In 2007 the British market, for winter wheat.
